I think I might consider shutting this blog down and moving to livejournal. But I'll need a pretty layout first.

I felt like updating on swine flu so here I am.

Singapore has 142 cases right now. Yes, this number can be trusted because I actually read the news. I know, you're so amazed. Hahaha okay fine, I read news selectively.

Anyway the point is that I remember before our WOW trips, Taiwan had 10 cases. Now, Taiwan only has 61 cases while Singapore has managed like, 3 to 142.

Honestly, how is the situation under control? I don't see how it is. Plus, with students carrying the virus going to school?

School's definitely the perfect breeding ground for H1N1, especially since the virus seems to affect more teenagers according to the age breakdown.

It doesn't help that JCs plus ACSI are having exams when school reopens. We're all going to be enclosed in a room. Plus air-conditioned, enclosed school compound.

Did I mention that I just heard even Malaysia's closing some schools? And Malaysia only has 50 cases now.

Just extend the holidays by a week already.

My internet's really screwed up these days. It's so slow that I can't stand being on facebook. That's annoying yet good, in a way?

Ashley Tisdale's new album is pretty cool. I love her new look. She looks so much better now. :)

Yay, love being up with Jocelyn till 5am everyday. Haha.

Went over to limbang today to meet Rachel, AmandaN and Jingwei.

I love random talk with them. A year ago we were there, at the same place, we talked about our future. Today we were there, and we talked about the future even further away.

We happened to talk about a JC for Nanhua. Well, yeah. Nanhua JC. They said they'd definitely go there. Despite that horrible name (I mean seriously, NHJC o_o), I think I would too. Okay, maybe it will depend.

"But I'm still hot. I'm like a chilli." Ahem.

These people. They were my past, are my present and will be my future.

I read somewhere online. Someone mentioned if they were to ask an American "Which school were you from?", he/she would name his/her university whereas if you ask a Singaporean the same thing, he/she would name his/her secondary school, like say.. ACS, instead of NUS or whatever.

I guess, the strongest bonds formed will be those with the people from secondary school. Maybe it's the four years together that makes a difference? Or.. I don't know.

Whatever it is, hopefully, this two years will get better.

It was just another 409 gathering with a lot of eating involved. After which we all ended up in her room, watching gossip girl. Yes, with the guys too. It was awesome.

First off, happy belated birthday Ashleigh Choo! Meeting 409, and 209 people was great. I guess it did feel like everything was different at first, but it was fine. After a while, I knew nothing was different. They're still the people I love.

Ashleigh's present was awesome. It caused a snowstorm. How cool is that?

Oh, and yesterday I almost missed the last bus home. Horrible.

Today's Sunday. Today marks the end of week 2 of my long-awaited holidays. The thought is depressing but on the brighter side, over the next 2 weeks, I'll get to spend more time with the dearest people in my life.

An update with my life, I'm going out soon.

These few days, I finally feel like I'm having the holidays I've waited for since forever.

I really gotta do better than this. Yes, Hoho and I are going to be roomies. We can do this. Then we'd be able to have a storage of food and eat and mug together everyday. ♥

Talking about everyday, I can't wait for the next two weeks. They're going to be so awesome. I still can't figure what I'd do without all of you.

Today, there was choir. Unfortunately though, it was only the IB side and the secondary side wasn't there. Ahhhhhhh I really need them around, they're super pro. Hahaha.

Met up with Jiawen after a million years after choir and we had a chitchat session.

I miss you my 409 olevel mugging gang. I can't wait to see you guys everyday. Omg I'm so excited. JE 9.30am everyday from next week onwards!! Hilarious hazelnuts, milkshakes and chicken chunks! Love.

I wish the holidays would last forever.

On the brighter side, choir is getting more interesting because the song sounds pretty awesome and I can't wait for combined practice. Awesome song!!!

Yesterday was dinner at Swensens and random shopping at night with the cool people. Janice, Astika, MingAnn, Koonhan, Stewart.

Today was KAP with the awesome people. Jingwei, Ian Choi, Jocelyn, Nigel. Gladys and Yuxuan joined for a bit too.

Hahaha life is great. Pictures when I can be bothered to upload them to the com.

I will finally blog about WOW trip to Halong Bay, Vietnam now!!

Actually, no. I'll just spam photos. And I'll blog more about today's (or should I say yesterday's?) outing tomorrow (later?).

5d4n on the ecoboat, Halong bay. 2 nights at Hanoi hotel. No doubt the conditions were bad compared to here but I guess it was good to step out of our comfort zones. And the friends made it better. Now that I look at all the photos, I really did enjoy myself then.

Summary of activities: 8km hike, 200m vertical climb, kayaking, mangrove planting, visit to school.

PHOTO TIME BECAUSE I CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO TYPE ANYMORE HEHEH. In no particular order, am just randomly posting. For the rest, just go logon to facebook.
